that if you buy one pair of shoes, the other goes to someone in need of a pair of shoes.
each time i got a new pair, all i could think about was "who are these going to?" i just sit and think about the condition that some of these people are living with. i forget how grateful i should be for what i have. and i have so much more to offer. i bet most of these people are the happiest ones out there. money and the worldly things seems to get in the way of our true goal in life. your heart always feels so full after you doing something for someone else, besides yourself for once. service.. its really cool. a lot of the times we dont think much about it. sometimes i feel like, when people are asked to give service, they dont always do it for the purpose, seems like out of obligation. i dont know, i want to make it a goal that when i get asked to serve people, to really do it with an open heart and mind. to stop thinking about myself and what people think. just to spend a few hours, out of our entire life to help someone. i swear our world lives with selfishness. maybe someday, it will change. who knows.
Toms are one of the coolest things. take into some consideration on what they are doing. how much help one pair of shoes is helping someone.
