happy father's day to my dad

happy father's day dad!

i am so grateful to have the dad that i do. i love that i am able to call him one of my best friends.

my dad taught me how to:

• love unconditionally
  
• love the lord
• work hard
• play hard
• and put others before myself
  

one of my favorite memories with my dad is when i was super little. he would wake up early before work and study the scriptures. and i would find myself waking up early too. i would go snuggle up to him and he would read me what he was reading. and he would always tell me how much he loves me. i could never forget that.

everyday my dad reminds the family how much he loves us and how grateful he is for us. i always look forward to his huge tight bear hugs! when i was little.. he would always have scruff on his chin and he would sit there and give each of us a whisker burn. haha. we would all cringe and laugh!

whenever i am having a bad day, i know that i can go to my dad. there have been many times while i work i go to him and cry and let him know what is going on. and of course, as always, he says the right thing. he lets me know that everything is going to be okay and comforts me.

i love my dad so much! i am so grateful that he is MY dad. happy father's day. you deserve the best day ever.
