my weekend..

hooray it's spring break! cheers to that! it started thursday afternoon :) anyway, this weekend has definitely has had its ups and downs. my college's art show is coming up and the deadline was this weekend. everyone kept telling me to enter. i was so scared to! i don't know why? i guess the fear of rejection. especially over something that i have passion for. well, we were able to enter up to 4 pieces. there are two sets of judging. the first judging is an online one when you submit your photo and they judge it and the second judging is when they judge your photo mounted. GUESS WHAT! 3 out of 4 of my photos made it through the first judging! i am completely stoked about it. hopefully my 3 photos make it through the next judging and my photos will be in the art show! when i was in the 8th grade, i entered into my junior high's art show with photography and actually won the photography part of it. hopefully i can get the same luck this time. crossing my fingers!
as of yesterday, i feel like i have been on my death bed. (k, not really, but its close haha..) i have never felt so nauseated. i stand up and feel like im ready to pass out. crossing my fingers its not because of my ovarian hemorrhagic cyst! i have had this cyst for awhile. i went to the doctors in january. i am in definite need to get another ultrasound for it. yesterday morning i felt an incredible pain down there and after that i have been super nauseated, dizzy, and my appetite completely gone. anyway, i'm sure i'll be on my way to the doctors soon enough if this doesn't stop. (the doctor's freaks me out!!! probably should get over that fear!)
so right now, i am soooo hoping that i will be a-okay by thursday! why?? oh just cause the city creek mall will be opening. FIRST TIFFANY'S IN UTAH! yayyyyyyyyy! i cannot wait!

mondays..

mondays are not my favorite days of the week! already cannot wait for the weekend!

-woke up with the worst headache, eyes blood shot. THANK YOU ALLERGIES.

-got my math test back.. passed the test.. but could have done better

-teachers just lectured all day. school was not going end.

-i'm genius and had some dairy-- stomach killing!

-and i have some serious issues with people being original. why cant people be original anymore????

so today my mother and i went on a shopping adventure-- must say it was quite fun.

the shopping ended at quick run to the grocery store.

there was a guy with raffle tickets to win a free $100! okay. why not attempt to win??

head over.. write our names on the raffle tickets-- now he was trying to have my mom buy some more ads for the sunday paper...

in the mean time.. i put my raffle ticket into the container. he stops. looks at my ticket. and out of the blue says....

"oooh. nice handwriting! its clean!"- raffle ticket boy.

"oh thanks?" - me.

okay. so i have come to the conclusion that i want to chop my hair off. crazy? i hope not. its time for a change. many people know that i am very daring when it comes to DYING my hair.. but not really cutting it. so this will be a big change! soooo. i cant decide HOW SHORT i should go? these are my ideas:

 or should i keep it a little longer-ish?

1. the next day is the weekend.
2. im done with math for the week.
3. and it gives me something to look forward for. because the weekend is always exciting.

hmm. i rather feel like im in a pickle right now. i just got the assignment in my writing class to write about a fear that i have overcome. to tell you the truth, i can't figure out what that would be. the only fears that i have.. are the typical fears. and some are from the experiences that i don't ever want to face again. none of them have been life changing, by choice i choose not to do them anymore.

my fears:

• spiders
• rapists
• heights
• donating blood
• snakes
• dying
• someone in my family dying
• drowning
• clowns
  

i suppose i could overcome some of those fears.

spiders: i hate them. they are creepy. they have 8 legs. multiple eyes. yuck.
rapists: definitely scared of. i just gotta think positive. but still terrified.
heights: the thought of falling off of things.. yikes! i hate looking below and knowing that i could fall any second. and DOOM!
donating blood: i think donating blood is such an amazing thing someone can do. but from personal experiences.. x-nay for me. i've tried it out, the ending results, no bueno! maybe someday i'll give it another try. but i love what comes from it!
dying/someone in my family dying: it scares me to death. haha literally. i hate the thought of losing one of my best friends. aka my family. but just gotta keep my head up and knowing that families are together forever.
drowning: i blame this on titanic. yes i've taken swimming lessons. but still, the thought of it, scares me!
clowns: i think clowns are terrifying. what kind of person wants some person dressed up in crazy makeup and psycho clothes to bring you "joy"! not i said the fly..


so those are my main fears. and have not overcame any of them. and don't really plan on it.
i sometimes think that fear is a good thing. maybe not. but sometimes, yes. because without fear, we would try the unthinkable. where would our conscious be? would it even exist? not only that, its a sort of reasoning within our own selves.

so fear can be good in the long run.
