SUMMER 2K12 RECAP

to state the obvious.. i have been awful on documenting my fabulous summer. since school is officially in full swing, that means summer is over. ugh! lame! summer was so great! i learned A LOT about life and the importance of every little detail. well close to that. but anyway. i went on a lot of adventures, play dates and hang out with my favorite boy! it was a good summer. wish it didn't end. but time to look forward to fall and everything that comes with it. cheers to a good fall 2012 semester.

greatest blessing...

the greatest blessing in my entire life so far is being an aunt! 

i never knew how much of a blessing it would be in my life. so far, i only have one nephew. and let me tell you, i love him so much!
 i didn't know that i could love something as much as i love him. he is the sweetest, happiest little boy i know.
 i have had the opportunity to watch him a few times a week this summer. and it has been something i am always looking forward to. especially to see his cute smile. there is nothing i love more than when he just starts cracking up with a full on belly laugh. or his sweet kisses on the cheek! whenever he is sad or cries from his teeth hurting (cause he is currently teething) it breaks my heart! 
he is such a sweet little boy. i am so blessed and grateful to be his aunt. 
i love him with my whole heart!! 

shout out the most amazing woman i know...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MAMA! 

I am definitely blessed to have such an amazing woman as my mom.

She dedicates everything to our family. I don't know how she does it, but she does it incredibly well.

I love you mom! Thank you for everything that you have done for me. You have always supported me and wanted me to shoot for the stars and make my dreams come true. I don't know what I would do without you. I am so grateful that you are one of my best friends. You amaze me with all that you do and all the time you put into our family. Pretty sure you are the best mama out there. Thanks for always letting me laugh, talk, cry, etc. with you. And without a doubt, you always give the best advice and always know what's the right thing to do.

Today I came home from Mexico and I couldn't wait to see my mom's face!! Let's just say that I missed her so much and the fact that I couldn't pick up my phone to call her, killed me!

And I also hope to have her dang good looks/ genes when I'm older. 

All I know is that I couldn't ask for a better mom. And nothing could replace our friendship.

if there was only one thing that i could say for the rest of my life would be that...
 i have the best parents.

i love them. they mean the world to me. 

through the thick and thin, they want the best for me. 

even if at times i get frustrated, stressed, down or whatever, i know that they are there for me and want me to be the best i can.

my parents don't give me everything i want. they make me work for it. 

but they do that because they love me.

i am so grateful that i can call them both of my best friends. and that i have that relationship where i can talk to them, laugh with them, cry with them, and everything else.

i love those moments when my dad randomly goes and fills up my car. even though he might not know it, but it means the world. 

or when they hand me a check to have fun on my upcoming vacation.

or when they randomly want to go to lunch.

or even go get a redbox and have a small movie night. 

or just talk.
i am so grateful for their unconditional love.
they always let me know that everything is going to be okay.
be jealous, cause i have mama chele and papa troy for eternity.
and i wouldn't trade anything for it!

i love you guys.

The day of LOVE.

my valentine's day ended up being a lot better than i expected. 

two reasons:

#1: my daddy's birthday

#2: spent it with my best friends

people always think that valentine's day is just for your significant other.

but i found that to be completely false.

most of the afternoon i spent it with my little brother getting things ready for our dad's birthday.

-bought stuff for cupcakes

-went on a search for the perfect card

we had a blast! 

later my grandparents came over and we enjoyed some pie and celebrated my dad's day of birth. 

when it got into the late evening, karlee and i went and bought valentine's presents for one of our best friend christine! we had a blast doing so.

we went to christine's work and gave her her gift. she was so excited about it.

my night consisted of us 3 best friends sitting in the break room at christine's work talking and laughing. 

none of us girls have "significant others". 

 this valentines was such a fun day being with the people who i truly love. family and friends. 

valentines doesn't have to be surrounded by a significant other. of course that could be fun too. but if you don't have one.. don't break a sweat. be with the ones who really mean the most to you.

seriously. i do not know what i would do without him.

thanks for always being my #1 fan.

you are always supporting me. and wanting me to shoot for the stars.

not only that, but you have shown me what TRUE happiness is. 

this past year you have shown me how to love the scriptures. and it seriously has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. and i owe all of that to you. thanks dad. 

thanks for always letting me cry on your shoulders. 

thanks for answering all of my questions. 

thanks for being supportive of all of my dreams.

thanks for always laughing with me.

thanks for letting me always talk/ vent to you.

Holy cow! I cannot believe that my lil' bro is 11 today. 

I very well remember the day he was born. And it's definitely one day I cannot forget. 

I'm so grateful that he is my little brother. 

He loves everything and everyone.

He will always be one of my best friends.

Welcome to 2012...

I started the New Year with my Doug!!! (aka Christine) 

I am so grateful to have her as a best friend!  We brought in the New Year with dancing, laughing, black sequins, diet cokes, pictures, doing what best friends do! We definitely started the year with a BANG!

THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2012:

• This next semester at SLCC. Taking only but photography classes :) woohoo! (whoever knew that I would be excited for school....)
• MEXICAN RIVERA CRUISE! With many of my friends! I honestly cannot wait!
• Lake Powell over the 4th of July! And yes, Christine will be joining me again :)
• Now my family is thinking about going to Newport for our family vacation. Disneyland, the beach, sun. hmm. Sounds nice to me :)
• Kauai over Thanksgiving?!

This year I will be traveling a lot! And I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
